Beef Kebabs

1½ lb. beef
1 onion
1 tablespoon oil
¼ pint stock
1 tablespoon worcester sauce
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons chilli sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
2 tablespoons tomato paste
salt and pepper.

Cut the beef into 2 inch cubes. Chop the onion and cook in oil. Add stock, Worcester sauce, lemon juice, sugar, chilli sauce, salt, pepper and mustard. Simmer for 15 minutes and stir in the tomato paste. Simmer for a further 5 minutes. Marinate the cubes in the sauce for 2 hours, thread on to skewers with vegetables and grill for 15 minutes, basting with the sauce.
