8 oz. (225 g.) SR. flour
12 oz. (350 g.) dried mixed fruit
2 oz. (50 g.) glacé cherries
4 oz. (115 g.) brown sugar
4 fI. oz. Flora cooking oil
1/2 tsp. mixed spice
1/2 tsp. almond essence
2 eggs
4 fI. oz. milk

Mix all ingredients together. Turn into lined cake tin (seven inch square). Bake at Gas Mark 2, 150CC, 300’F centre of oven for two hours.
